When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.

John 11.4

Every harvest draws its potential from a seed. In the same way, the good news of eternal life draws its potential from the death of Jesus Christ. The emergence of life often comes through death. Adoption, resurrection, and all future glory rest on this foundation: the death of Jesus.

It may seem paradoxical that death brings forth life. Yet nature itself confirms this: the harvest comes from the seed that falls to the ground. The corn kernel that dies produces an ear of corn; the papaya seed that disappears into the soil brings forth a papaya tree. So it is in our lives.

I come to announce the blessing on your life. Behind your shortcomings, your failures, your illnesses, your anger, your addictions, your painful past and even your bad reputation lie the seeds of resurrection. The Holy Spirit hovers over your situation, ready to open the floodgates of Heaven upon your seeds.

Rejoice! Your disadvantages, your trials, your tears are in reality seeds of resurrection.

God wants to resurrect a dimension within you that is still invisible. But it all begins with thanksgiving.

From now on, GIVE THANKS!! PRAISE GOD!! Your field promises a bountiful harvest! Stop lamenting and start celebrating, for you no longer have problems, only seeds to plant in praise and worship. As you do so, God will say, « Let there be light! » — it will be a personalised light.

Give thanks for your shortcomings, for it is written: « Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus » (1 Thessalonians 5:18). There is no situation for which God has not already prepared a way out. For Him, death is only fertile ground for resurrection.

So today, I sow my difficulties, my pains, my weaknesses and misunderstandings into the soil of His presence, through thanksgiving. In doing so, I encounter Yahweh, the Existing One who brings things into being, and I contemplate His sufficiency. I discover His extraordinary power, the very power that raised Jesus from the dead. Now I can proclaim: « I was dead, and behold, I am alive! ». I see life springing forth from my chaos, I see light shining in my darkness, I see the sufficiency of God replacing my insufficiency.

« I SOW MY SORROW IN HIS PRESENCE AND I REAP HIS RESURRECTION.«
